I have the Brother MFP-7340 printer.Problem is when i send a print, from any of the computers, it DOESNT PRINT. we have to turn the printer on and off…multiple times before the print starts…..ANY SOLUTION for this kina of prob!!!

Is this printer connected to the whole setup through Network switch/router? This issue may be either due to printer or the network. Please try the following steps:
(a) Clear the printer queue in all the systems, there may be print request lying idle in error mode.
(b) Update the drivers of the printer in all computers.
(c) Reset the printer. If the printer memory is full of requests, it may cause issues.
(d) If printer firmware is available, update it.
(e) Remove any ghost printers from the Printer configuration.

You have already set the printer to print in gray scale but still there is no black in the printouts, this may be due to cartridge issues or the settings. It is still printing color but I believe we can get this checked as well. We can try to print a Print Quality Check Sheet.
