Different ways to install the various models of Canon printers
Canon printers are the most acceptable printers for both office and home use. It contains all the latest features that can be used to carry out day to day printing works. Wireless printer installation
Canon wireless printer is very easy to install and use as there is no hassle of using cables. At first, you need to unpack the package and load printer cartridges in to the printer. After that connect the wireless printer to a power outlet to turn it on. You can start the installation using the CD provided in the package. You can add the wireless network and name of the printer as prompted when the installation continues. When prompted you can connect the wireless USB cable. When the installation is completed you can remove the USB cable. You can now print your documents through wireless router connected on your computer.
Driver CD
The easy installation is with the use of Driver CD obtained along with the printer. You can insert the driver CD on your computer’s optical drive. The installation will start automatically or you can even start it manually. Once the installation starts follow the instruction provided on the screen. You can connect your printer through USB cable when prompted by the software during installation. After the installation is completed, you can print a test page for checking.
Downloading the driver
Sometimes the driver CD obtained along with the printer will not work or may be lost. At that time, the easy option to get the driver software is by downloading it from the Canon website. You can open the Canon website and select downloads section. In that you can see different Canon product. You can choose the printer section and select the printer you have. You can select the latest version of the driver and can click on “Download” button to download it. After downloading, you can start the installation by double clicking the downloaded file. You can also use this file for reinstalling the printer.
