Error code 6502
The Error code 6502 can occur in the printer as a result of ink tubes caught under housing and jammed the print head against the right hand side of the printer. The printer is unable to do anything now and it will give an alarm light only. To fix this issue, you need to unplug the printer and then plug it back. You need to press and hold the power button of the printer and click the Stop button twice. You can then release the Power button and press Stop button for four times. The issue will be fixed and you can start your print jobs.
Another error code that comes up in Canon MX700 printer is Error code 5B10. It can occur as a result of some internal errors in the printer. To correct the error, press and hold the ON/OFF button while pressing the Stop/Reset button. Press the Stop/Reset button two times. You can now release all buttons. As the Power LED gives green light, you need to press down the Stop/Reset button 4 times. Again, you need to press ON/OFF and Stop/Reset buttons two time and unplug the printer. Reconnecting the printer resolves the error code 5B10.
