Details of Dell® 926 printer

Dell 926 printer is very simple. You have a few options to choose from while copying like zooming, lightening or darkening the photos. Dell 926 can produce copies at about 1200 x 1200 dpi. The scanner is standard and provides scan resolutions of up to 1200 x 4800. The maximum document size that can be scanned on the flatbed scanner is 8.5”³ x 11”³. The scanning will start from either the printer or the computer.

Dell 926 uses USB connected PC printing, scanning and faxing with stand alone copying in a compact box. It prints very fast and prints up to 20 pages per minute in monochrome and up to 15 pages per minute in color. It produces high quality photos and documents with a print resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi.

Dell 926 is mainly used for printing, scanning and copying. This printer also has the ability to fax when you connected to a computer. The USB port and the power plug is located at the rear of the printer. Dell 926 uses three ink cartridges, but only two at a time and the cartridges are: Color, black and photo color. If you are printing text or color documents then you can use the color and black cartridges. If you are printing photos then you can use the color and photo cartridges. The scanner is fairly standard and gives scan resolutions of up to 1200 x 4800.

• FIVE – Print button

  Printingis as simple as pushing the print button from your favorite program. There are different options in the print menus that you can use to customize your printouts. It also has the ability to set print quality and the paper type. One of the things that you need to watch out for when printing is the resetting the options in the software will cause other settings to reset.

• FOUR – Scanner

  The scanner is loaded on top of Dell 926, which has a small screen and a few controls. The controls consist of seven buttons and these buttons do not do much in respect to the printer; they are usually used to change the settings. The green button on the right side will allow the copier to start, scan and fax. The button on the bottom is used to turn the printer on and off.

  Copying, unlike faxing and scanning is something you can do without the need of a computer. Dell 926 can copy in color, black and white, that takes the same amount of time. The copying of a 4 × 6 photo of photo quality takes 2 minutes and 48 seconds.

• TWO – Memory card manager

  If you are connected directly to the printer with USB you can also use the memory card manager to access your pictures. This program which comes with the printer will allow you to make easy changes to the pictures, like rotating them and printing pictures directly from the memory card.

• ONE –  Support

  The media card slots; PictBridge, Bluetooth and wireless networking help you to connect it to just about any computer. The individual ink cartridges for each color reduce ink consumption. There are only two media card slots that support a multimedia card, Secure Digital, memory stick and an xD picture card.
