Configuring the settings
First turn off the Dell printer, then press the check and right arrow buttons at the same time and hold them down. Now release the buttons when the printer self test begins. Then the test is completed, the words 'Config menu' will appear in the display. Use the down arrow to scroll to reset maintenance count and press the 'Select' button. Then press the check button to reset the counter. Scroll to exit configuration menu using the down arrow, and press the 'Select' button. The printer will be reset and will be ready for use.
