- FIVE – New Look Up Table Technology
The new LUT technology in Epson Stylus Photo R1900 calculates and optimizes colour combinations for giving best tones and colours in each print. The technology provides smooth gradation, reduced graininess and low colour inconstancy which results in high definition photographic images. By reducing graininess, you will receive excellent colour quality in skin tones and highlights. By reducing colour inconstancy, prints look same under different light sources. Colour gamut is smoothened to ensure colour gradations, with shadows and other minute details.
- FOUR – Excellent Print Quality
The new inks set along with the improved gloss optimizer have improved the output. New ink set provides a brilliant magenta and greener yellow for more accurate blue and green tones. Blue ink is replaced by an orange ink, which results in an overall image quality with dazzling reds and rich natural skin tones. Shading of tones is improved by reduced graininess and ultra smooth gradations.
- THREE – Durable Prints
The gloss optimizer and high density transparent resin coating for coloured ink pigment particles in Epson Stylus Photo R1900 produce long lasting images. Prints are resistant to colour fading and discolouration for up to 80 years depending upon the paper page. The pigment printer increases the durability of the paintings. Photos printed on Epson’s Premium Presentation Matte, Ultra Smooth fine Art, Velvet Fine Art and Water colour Radiant White were rich and vibrant with all minute details.
- TWO – Speedy
Epson Stylus Photo R1900 prints an A4 sheet two seconds faster and is physically smaller by 60cm in places. The dual USB ports on Epson Stylus Photo R1900 are for PC and Mac compatibility. The printer doesn’t have a memory card slot for direct printing. So if you don’t want to use your computer, you’ll have to employ the PictBridge port. Using the default print mode, Epson Stylus Photo R1900 prints a 4-by-6-inch photo in 36 seconds, an 8-by-10-inch photo in 76 seconds, and a 12-by-18-inch photo in 157 seconds.
