Scanning of documents and pictures in this printer can be controlled from the computer or simply from this printer control panel. The quality of the printouts can be adjusted and subsequently nine copies of the new quality level be produced.

In printing the original document cannot be resized to fit paper used. The document will be printed at its original size.

Sharing of photos and documents is, however, possible with these printers. This printer has specialized software that does this. Photo files that can be accessed in this printer are those saved in GIF. Photos are automatically saved in GIF in the C4280.
