Lexmark Z705 printer uses thermal inkjet technology for printing. There are four color inkjets in Lexmark Z705 printer i.e. cyan, yellow, black and magenta and six optional colors for printing photos. The maximum printing speed for draft and black is up to 17 pages per minute and for draft and color, it's up to 10 pages per minute. The maximum printing speed for normal black is up to 11 pages per minute and that for a normal color is up to 3 pages per minute.
Lexmark Z705 can print in six different colors if the user is using color cartridge combined with the photo cartridge. It also includes sensor for sensing the paper type. This printer also provides the alignment of cartridges which is done automatically. It provides an important option for printer i.e. print cancel option.
