Add printer port
First, you need to go to 'Control Panel' and then go to 'Printers and Faxes'. Now double-click on it and you will get an option 'Add new port', when selected, it will give an option to select 'Standard TCP/IP port' and then click the 'New Port' button. Now you get an option to complete the configuration, where you can give a printer name and then select 'Finish', completing the process.
To configure the printer port on your computer system, first you need to go Control Panel and then select 'Printers and Faxes' folder. From this window, you need to double-click on the printer that you want to configure and select 'Properties'. To configure the port, you need to click either 'RAW' or 'LPR Protocol' from the 'Configure Standard TCP/IP Port Monitor' dialog box.
