Tips to configure network printer on Windows® 7
What is a network printer and what are its benefits and role? Learn about the ways to configure network printer on Windows 7
A printer connected to a wired or wireless network is known as network printer. It might be Ethernet enabled and be cabled to an Ethernet switch, or it might connect to a Wi-Fi network, or both. A computer printer connected to the network is termed as network printer. Network printers might be typically in the range of 25 ppm. A network printer might be attached to a server or workstation that might be used by any user connected to the network. Once a home network is established, it's easy to set-up all of the computers to share a single printer. You need not bounce from one system or another just to print out an e-mail message in network printer. Other computer peripherals could be shared similarly such as network scanners, Web cams, and CD burners. Network printers might also provide a number of advantages to companies of all sizes, including lower costs and greater flexibility. With a network printer in place, individual workers no longer need their own printers, and this might save considerable money on both initial purchases and ongoing maintenance.

Network interface might be available on some specific printers. If the printer has been previously configured, you might use it without being reconfigured but provided no one else is currently using that same IP address.
