Few commonly encountered problems and how to adjust page breaks
The list of few commonly encountered problems while giving print command in the Microsoft Excel sheets most of them can be rectified by the normal settings & few changes. There can be wrong data prints or the printout may not look fine. It can also be due to the pagination. You may also find that the worksheet background did not get correctly printed and the most important data may be merged out. Here, the tip is to adjust page breaks in the print preview window. Do make sure that the worksheet also fits the page width and change to landscape format. Keep a vertical page break and it is always better to hide columns. Fit A4 worksheets to letter paper and print a section of a worksheet to check the printing procedure being carried out in a proper and appropriate fashion.
Preparation required for correct & authenticated prints
First and important point to be remembered is to make the worksheet easy to read. Better is to scan and understand your worksheet data. Do include information about page numbers in headers or footers, make sure all data is completely appearing, keep it easy for scanning purpose, center the worksheet and adjust its margins, alter the margins using specific measurements and specify the gridlines printed or not. Prior giving print, it is also good review & justify the worksheet. Making a preview of your printout will allow users to take final adjustments before giving print so that no such problems are encountered later and preventive measures can be assured at the very start of the process and avoid getting the flaws later with the finished print. In print preview, do justify the margins & scales.
Always add the full path of the saved file to the header/footer. Printing in non continuous areas would be better. Hiding data prior to printing is important and use report manager to print already saved documents. Print a page number in portrait while the page is in landscape and be careful in copying the page set-up to other sheets and adding the specified path address to the header/footer. Also maintain order of non contiguous ranges to a single contiguous range for printing. Lastly do unprinted blank pages in Microsoft Excel to avoid the possibility of encountering another error in the printing process.
