Modifying a printer's settings
Once your printer has been added, you may change some of its settings like location and any installable options using the Printer Setup Utility. To do this, you need to open the Printer Setup Utility, highlight the printer whose settings you want to change. For that, you need to click the 'Show Info' icon in the toolbar. This opens the Printer Info window, which you may use to make the changes. Click 'Apply Changes' to make your changes take effect.

You may use the Printer Setup Utility to create and place an icon for your printer on the desktop. To do this, you need to open the Printer Setup Utility, highlight the printer in the list, and choose 'Printers'. Then, you need to click 'Desktop Printer' from the menu bar.
