Life sucks when a printer sucks!
Life really sucks when your printer stops working. It is not like you can just call a printer repair man, although they probably do exist. On the occasion that your printer breaks you are more of less left to figure things out for yourself. That sucks because, honestly, who keeps the owner's manual for a printer?
I was sitting at my computer on a sunny morning, preparing myself for a job interview. I was completely ready. All I had to do was print off my resume and head out the door. However, as soon as I hit the print button my printer made a clicking and groaning that I had never heard it make before. Instantly, my instincts told me I was in trouble.
After opening the cover and taking a look inside, it turned out the printer had jammed in some way that I did not know was actually possible. One thing was for sure, it was not going to print off my resume. "This sucks," I thought to myself. "I knew I should have done this earlier!"
I had to think fast if I was going to make it to the job interview on time with my resume in hand. I bolted out my front door and pointed myself in the direction of the public library. My printer had failed me, and now I was in a real bind.
Luckily I made it to the library, printed off my resume, and made it to my job interview on time; albeit, slightly short of breath. Even though there is really no way to anticipate your printer giving up on life, there is no reason for you to!
