What happens when your printer sucks
Okay, you've just completed your taxes after 3 hours of mind-numbing paper shuffling, sorting, and utilizing all your talents in creative mathematics. You need to get a hard copy immediately so you can mail today. True, it's only April 13, but you decided to do your taxes early this year and you're so proud of your accomplishment. You scan the documents on your scanner, being careful to align the papers up perfectly. You turn on your printer and prepare to print out the docs.
You grab a quick coffee, sit down, sigh with a satisfied smile, and press "print". Nothing. "hmmm" you say. A furrowed brow appears on your forehead. You glare at your printer with a scowl. You press "print" again. Nothing. You put the coffee mug down and your scowl turns into a look of panic. You start to breathe heavily and your heart is racing. You mutter a few cross words, mostly inappropriate for this forum, and press "print" again. Nothing.
Your monitor is telling you the computer is unable to connect to the printer. The printer worked fine yesterday when you printed off those copies of your brother-in-law with the cat on his head. You check all the cables and you unplug and replug everything, even checking the ink supply. You press "print". Nothing.
After a couple hours of rechecking everything, you decide that life sucks and just go and buy a new printer. Home again, you realize the old ink cartridge won't fit this model.
