3D Printer glasses at the fashion week
Fashion and technology has formed a close bond since one or the other forms of technology are incorporated in fashion. After LED dresses, it’s time for glasses printed from 3D printer.
These 3D printed glasses from MakerBot have made a unique and popular style statement at the New York fashion week this time around. Models donned these glasses and walked the ramp. The renowned fashion designer Asher Levine, who has also designed for Lady Gaga, implicated his thoughts into action and had made his models wear different colored glasses. All of these glasses were completely fabricated from a MakerBot printer.
These 3D glasses are a clear example of how well the technology has amalgamated with fashion.
MakerBot has emerged as one of New York's most talked-about startups that has expanded from 2 to 80 people since its inception. The company has sold more than 10,000 MakerBot, the price of which starts at $1,100.
