Accord Carton installs Ronald 900
After 70 years of making great packaging for clients, Accord Carton has installed a seven color Roland 900 in format 6 with coater. The company is the second in the world to install it. The installation is tentatively to be completed in late February 2012.
Robert Codo, president of Accord Carton, said, “In the last five years we've gone from seven million dollars to nearly 40 million dollars in sales. There are still plenty of opportunities out there for us and we need this new machine to take us to the next level.”
Roland 900 is a large-format press that produces more images than any other small format press. Its ink-repelling coating reduces the time for changing inks by up to 50 percent. The QuickChange Coating system enables coating changeovers from UV to dispersion coating. In addition the multipurpose clamping system reduces the time needed for changing to different type of coating by 50 percent. The nonstop feeder and delivery give out the highest productivity. It can operate at up to 15,000 sheets per hour. With the RONALD InlineSheeter, reel paper can run on the Ronald 900. The combination of ROLAND InlineSheeter and ROLAND InlineBackprinter is economically unbeatable.
Accord Carton is a family-owned business since 1940. Over the years, it has used state of art technology and passion in creating packages that help the products to showcase themselves. It offers its customers a wide range of services from designing production to delivering quality finished cartons.
With the installation of the new Ronald 900, the company anticipates to capitalize on the new business opportunities.
