Ricoh is one of the renowned corporations in the printing domain. Its Europe vertical has launched a special Carbon Balanced Printing Programme. It is one of its kinds in Europe, with a major focus upon corporate print rooms and commercial printers. The programme has also received an accreditation by the British Standards Institution.
The major aim of the Ricoh programme is to help the major printing service providers in reducing the impact of printing on environment and ensuring a carbon neutral printing service. The machine deployed for the program is the Ricoh pro-production printing systems.
Graham Moore, business development director, Production Printing Business Group, Ricoh Europe PLC said, "Print buyers are increasingly seeking to purchase services that use sustainable materials and play their part in helping to reduce their organisations carbon emissions.”
The Carbon Balanced Printing Programme follows the below-mentioned steps:
• Analyzing carbon footprint of each and every print job
• Optimize the printing job
• Neutralize the emissions that are unavoidable, using carbon credits
