Dell® gives additional guarantee to boost reliability
Dell, the big brand name from Texas in the world of hardware, has formally announced an additional guarantee to cover its printers. This guarantee comes in surplus to the already existing warranty and assures its service as a safeguard tool.
Dave McNally, EMEA head of imaging sales at Dell assures of quality printing along with efficient working and reliable operations. He said, “We strive to deliver the best solutions and will continue to focus on initiatives such as this." Such being the ultimate target and aim of the company, the guarantee holds weight.
The two most essential promises that the reliability guarantee depicts are:
• Free repairing service:
Dell will provide free repairing service to printers, if they fail to perform according to the terms and conditions as mentioned in the program manual.
• Price Refund
The second promise worth mentioning is that it would refund the original purchase price if a printer breaks down within 12 months of purchase, which is generally considered as the warrantee period of the product.
Updates, however, reveal that this reliability guarantee will run from 20th June to 31st December, 2011 on 3, 5, and 7 series printers and then will branch out gradually in the coming years. The customers, who are interested to avail this additional assurance under the authentic guidance of Dell, have to register their printer within 30 days of purchase and upload a copy of the invoice or receipt along with their personal registration number on the official website of Dell.
Dell is hopeful to increase its popularity and win over the users’ confidence by implementing these two promises.
