Epson® launches its first dry photo lab
Epson Printers, one of the leading manufacturers of home office and wide format printers, has announced the launch of its first inkjet-based dry photo lab Epson SureLab SL-D3000.
Features of Epson SureLab SL-D3000 dry photo lab
The Epson SureLab SL-D3000 dry photo lab offers best print quality, low cost per print, and improved flexibility at low maintenance cost. All the said features are possible because of ultra-reliable print head, a newly developed UltraChrome D6 ink set, and a sophisticated Look Up Table (LUT).
The new and advanced features of this dry photo lab work together to offer high-quality printouts on glossy, matte, and luster paper up to 12 inches wide to professional photographers and large scale digital printers of cards, flyers, leaflets, invitations, etc.
The new Epson SureLab SL-D3000 dry photo lab printer system uses Epson UltraChrome D6 six-color ink set, which features high capacity 700ml cartridges and can achieve a wide color range that is much more than that of traditional silver halide, and generates printouts that are vivid and life-like with brilliant black density. Advanced image processing is possible through enhanced tone gradation. As a result blue skies are brilliant, skin tones are subtle, and grey backgrounds are soft.
According to Epson, the SL-D3000 is ergonomically-designed, environment-friendly, power-efficient and user-friendly. The power-efficient Epson SureLab SL-D3000 consumes significantly less energy than a wet lab, and does not require a water supply, air filter, or chemicals and hence, minimizing the negative impact on environment and the total cost of ownership.
