There are printers and then there is Epson, the grand daddy of all printer manufacturers. One of the world’s leading printer firms, Epson announced that it would be releasing two all-in-one printers and an inkjet printer soon. What unites the three is their suitability for the small office. These printers can help save costs and can print on both sides of a paper.
Rodrigo Catalan, Sr., product manager of Epson claimed that all the three offer low running cost for high print volume needs, are twice as fast as other leading inkjet printers, and boast easy-to-operate features for creating high quality documents. He further said that Epson WorkForce Pro series takes the line of home office and small business inkjet solutions a step further.
Here are the two new printers by Epson: Epson WorkForce Pro WP- 4540 and Epson WorkForce Pro WP- 4530. These mainly serve small and medium businesses while offering flexibility and powerful speeds. As an add-on, Epson also provides extra large ink cartridges; these can churn out up to 2,400 pages in black and 1,200 pages in color, claims Epson.
Epson WorkForce range can use a printer’s USB port to send files straight to a PC. Some of the other features of the Epson WorkForce include an in-built Wi-Fi networking, copy features, an automatic document feeder which is built-in, and navigation with the aid of a 5.8-inch touch screen. Its input capacity is 580 sheets and it retails at $ 399.99. On the other hand, Epson WorkForce Pro WP- 4530 can process up to 330-sheets. It will lighten your pocket by $299.99.
Epson will also release a new inkjet printer, Epson WorkForce Pro WP- 4020. This can print fast on both single and double sides of a paper. Its input capacity is 330 sheets. This printer will cost $179.99. Expect all three to be out sometime in September, 2011.
