The American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has chosen Epson printer to print its credentials for the Academy Awards, second time in a row. The model that has been used is Epson WorkForce 60.
Deborah Cahn, Manager of Credential Operations for the Academy commented: “This is the second year in a row that we’ve used the Epson WorkForce 60 printers to produce thousands of official backstage credentials. I found the Epson WorkForce printers to perform better than any other printer in the non-stop printing sessions required to get all the credentials printed, both in terms of speed and drying time, which is near-instant.”
The multi-functioning Epson WorkForce 60 is capable of printing up to 15 ISO ppm, with an automatic double-sided printing. It has a 250 sheet input capacity. All this comes for a mere price of $100. The high quality printing output is the prime cause for the printer being chosen.
