Epson® releases SDKs for iOS and Android™ mobile printing applications
Epson, one of leading suppliers of value-added point of sale (POS) solutions for retail, hospitality, airports and the finance sector, has announced the release of software development kits (SDKs) for Apple iOS and Google Android mobile printing applications.
Features of Epson SDKs for mobile printing applications
The recently released Epson SDKs are developed to lessen the development time required to implement mobile POS applications, enabling support for wireless printing from handheld peripherals like iPad, iPod touch, iPhone and similar devices powered by Android mobile operating system.
These SDKs will be made available immediately for the best-selling Epson thermal and multifunction printers. The SDKs will offer developers fast, convenient and cost-effective tools to connect iOS and Android run devices to networked POS printers.
