Blame it on the printer! Not us! That’s what the officials at the New Amsterdam office of the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) would be saying to the license applicant.
As per sources, though the problem is going on since last week or so, yesterday, a faulty printer literally stalled the issuance of Vehicle Revenue Licences at the Guyana Revenue Authority office. Because of the problem, the cashier’s booth was closed up to midday yesterday leading to a buildup of long lines in front of the office. As a result of this, speculations about the cashier being absent, computers not working, and the obvious one, the printer is experiencing problems floated all day.
As per the Kaieteur News, the newspaper reporters tried to contact the branch manager to solicit a comment but this proved futile.
