Google™ Cloud Print to come integrated with select Canon® PIXMA printers

The Canon PIXMA MG8220 and Canon PIXMA MG6220 Wireless Photo All-in-One (AIO) inkjet photo printers now provide full support to Google Cloud Print, as announced by Canon U.S.A. Inc. yesterday. This support functionality would enable users to print on the go from Gmail and Google Docs via their mobiles. Users who possess Mac, Windows, Linux, or Chrome devices, could print via the Google Chrome browser installed in their machines.
With Google Cloud Print, you can print from anywhere you are. This feature also provides you the option of sharing your printer with anyone you choose.
Soon to be added in the list of Canon printers providing support to Google Cloud Print is the Canon PIXMA MX892 Wireless Office AIO inkjet printer
“We are excited to work with Google on the addition of this connectivity feature on our PIXMA printers,” Yuichi Ishizuka, executive vice president and general manager, Imaging Technologies & Communications Group, Canon U.S.A. said “In today’s world, we understand that consumers are always interested in additional connectivity options to print their important photos and documents and we are more than happy to be able to deliver this new feature to our users today.”
