Heidelberg® and Ricoh® will focus on greener printing at Drupa 2012
Heidelberg has recently announced that its Anicolor press line, presented at Drupa Print Media Fair 2012 at Dusseldorf, Germany, is a carbon-neutralized press. This Anicolor Press will offset all the carbon emissions and will hence be a carbon-neutralized press. The Heidelberg press would cost $ 5,000.
Ricoh ,another leader in the printing domain, is also coming up with an all new Carbon Balanced Printing Programme for its European clientele. This programme will aid in reducing the environmental impact of printing and will hence ensure a carbon neutral service on all their Ricoh production print systems. Ricoh also has plans to initiate the programme globally after its success in Europe.
Drupa will also feature a new “Sustainable Media Production” area in Hall 6, Stand B 06. Both Heidelberg and Ricoh are making a great deal of efforts to be in the lime light by introducing environment-friendly printing devices at Drupa 2012.
