HP, the leading IT giant, has come up with a new range of printers and PCs. The corporation has planned to launch its series of printers as well as PCs with a new search-enabled functionality. All these printers and PCs will be equipped with the autonomy’s search software.
By introducing this feature, HP has posed a direct competition to the giants–Google and Microsoft.
Autonomy software is an ideal tool that helps in getting information about the insider trading at banks and for also handling the call center phone calls. All the new printers and PCs would be equipped with this technology.
Autonomy was sold to HP last year by Mike Lynch, who now handles HP Information Management business. The new range will be made available to the consumers later this year.
“What we have done with people from HP is give them assets and technology to do things with,” Mr Lynch said.
Let’s wait to see how the new printers and PCs fare in the market arena.
