Morgan Stanley has been conducting various researches on Apple and its products. In the recent survey that they conducted, the results indicate that day by day, the usage of printers has been deteriorating in both the personal as well as professional domains.
In an effort to create paperless environment, printer usage has actually reduced. Morgan Stanley Research survey named “Tablet Demand and Disruption” says that as more and more people are using iPad, their printer usage is also reducing.
To conduct a precise and accurate survey, over 700 tablet users were surveyed in the U.S. The results revealed that 46% of the users has almost stopped their printer usage. Around 41% among the tablet users did not feel the need to print owing to tablet features. All this has also benefited the businesses in reducing printer usage and cutting on the unnecessary costs.
The survey has a bad news for printer manufacturing giants, who earn their entire revenue by selling mainly printers.
