Kodak along with Timsons Printing Machinery has unveiled the digital inkjet press - Timson T-Press. It is the widest and fastest digital inkjet press and helps in producing black and white trade and textbooks.
This highly powerful press is a conglomeration of the streaming inkjet technology from Kodak, and comprises powerful components and material handling capabilities by Timsons. The press offers an ultimate production speed and capabilities as well. It is designed to offer digital production of as many as 5-14 million books per annum.
Clays, a book solutions organization, is the first client to adopt the services of the press. ‘The new capabilities of the Timson T-Press will enable Clays to continue to be a leader in book production efficiency and to expand the solutions we provide to our publishers,’ said Kate McFarlan, managing director, Clays.
Both the organizations are deciding to unveil the press at Drupa 2012 at Barcelona in Spain.
