These printers support cloud technology, which means you can easily print your online documents with ease. Now there is no need to hook up your computer or laptop to the printer using cables. All you require is an Internet connected device.
The Kodak e-mail PrintReady can also be used to send printing jobs. Kodak has introduced four printers, including HERO 5.1, HERO 7.1, HERO 9.1 and OFFICE HERO 6.1. These printers use Kodak’s proprietary pigment based inks which dry instantly and are highly water, smudge and fade resistant.
While some of the printers have touch screen technology, others include the options of two-sided printing, scanning, copying and faxing which make it a multi-tasking machine. Since these printers support Google Cloud Print and Kodak e-mail Print, you need to have a Google account to access these features. The new line of HERO printers is also expected to replace the current ‘ESP’(E-mail Service Provider) moniker which comes attached along with the Kodak printers. These features are also supported by smartphones on Blackberry, iOS and Android platform. The file formats which are supported by these printers include Microsoft Word Documents, Excel Sheets, PDFs, JEPG photos, HTML and plain text.
