Konica Minolta® implements green printing strategy at Wildlife Conservation Society
The Wildlife Conservation Society has implemented a cost-effective, green printing strategy with the help of optimized print services offered by Konica Minolta. The announcement of the said implementation came from Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. This new print service deployed by WCS eliminates wasteful printing and saves energy. Henceforth, it saves energy and controls and saves printing expenditures.
The Optimized Print Services solution implemented by Konica Minolta is tailored to meet the needs of WCS after a detailed assessment. As part of the implementation, Konica Minolta replaced 20 laser printers with 20 Konica Minolta magicolor 1690MF multifunction printers (MFPs), and Konica Minolta bizhub C35 color printers. The OPS assessment process reduced the printing costs at WCS by 30 to 40 percent, thus adding to the overall savings of the entity.
