Konica Minolta® recalls its printers
Konica Minolta is a name to reckon with for manufacturing high quality printers. However, in a recent incident, its printers have proved to be hazardous, raising a suspicion on the quality. Owing to the problem in the printer line, the corporation has announced a discontinuation of around 8,430 printers. The recall involves discontinuing four desktop models of laser color printers: Magicolor 4750DN, Magicolor 3730DN, Bizhub C35 and Bizhub C35P.
There is a major glitch in the series of printers that can lead to short circuit and overheating during their use, posing a threat of fire.
To make up for this, Konica Minolta is providing repair and replacement for the models that were purchased in the period of June 2010-March 2011.
Additionally Konica Minolta is also providing replacement for models Magicolor 3730DN and 4750DN. The corporation is also sending its authorized service agents to the client location for any service and assistance.
