Lomond EvoJet Office Printer Review

Lomond EvoJet Office printer is a product of Lomond Trading Company, which is a paper manufacturer and a printer OEM based in London, UK. The company claims it to be the fastest inkjet color printer with a speed of 60 full color pages per minute. The printer is suitable for applications in the home, office and commercial document printing, as well for home photo and commercial label printing.

Salient features of Lomond EvoJet Office Printer

The Lomond EvoJet Office printer uses Memjet technology, in which a single massive print head – 223 mm wide and with 70,000 print nozzles – remains stationary, spraying down a ‘waterfall’ of ink on the paper as it passes through. The nozzles create 1 piktoliter ink drops, and Lomond claims that the fixed head makes it more durable than a standard inkjet with more moving parts. The printer is compact in size with a 250-sheet tray in the base. There’s a single-sheet feed at the rear, and as far as the controls are concerned they are only a few buttons on the right of the sloping top.

The printer comes equipped with USB 2.0 Hi speed and Ethernet 100 802.3 connectivity options. The Lomond EvoJet Office printer can also be used by the users to print photographs, but only on A4 size papers. The printer is heftily priced at £659. The other negative thing about this printer is that it lacks a few important office features, such as a duplex printing and the ability to add extra paper trays.
