MakerBot Industries has launched a new 3D printer called the Replicator, which can print anything you can imagine of. MakerBot Replicator was even showcased at the recent CES event held at Las Vegas Convention Center, which has got the attention of the viewers. MakerBot Industries was founded in 2009, and it is dedicated to making 3D printers mainly for home use at a very reasonable price.
You can 3D print objects in two ways:
1. Using CAD program: Computer-aided design (CAD), a software, which helps users in designing shapes by using computer technology tool. It is used for designing 2D and 3D curves and figures. It is also known as computer-aided design and drafting (CADD). So, using CAD Program, you can put your own creativity and design anything and make it come to reality by using the MakerBot Replicator 3D printer.
2. Print objects from Thingiverese: If you cannot make your own design, there is always Thingiverese. It is a website where users can share thousands of artistry digital designs. You can choose any design and create a 3D print of it.
MakerBot offers you MakerBot Replicator in two ways - you can buy it with a single extrusion or a dual extrusion. The advantage of buying the Replicator 3D printer with a dual extrusion is that, you can print your 3D designs using two different colors at a time.
