Mimaki, a renowned name in manufacturing wide-format printers for the textile industry, is making news these days. The corporation has unveiled its new printer, which it claims is the world’s fastest sublimation inkjet printer. The all new Mimaki TS500-1800 along with the combo of the ink Sb 3000 are designed in a way so as to increase the productivity for the textile and apparel, as well as soft signage market.
‘We are excited to bring to market the world's fastest dye sublimation inkjet printer, capable of printing at 150 square meters per hour on transfer paper,’ said Sakae Sagane, managing director of Mimaki Europe.
The high-speed printer TS500-1800 has the capability of printing four- and six-color at the super high speed of 150sqm per hour.
The printer also eliminates the need of changing media since it accepts the rolls of up to 60 kgs and 300 mm. Mimaki has decided to unveil the printer at the Fespa Digital 2012 show at Barcelona. However, it will be released in the market in April 2012.
