Rohrer Corp. is a highly renowned packaging firm based in Ohio. It has been generating around 30 percent of its sales from thermoforming, folding paper cartons, as well as paper cardstock. The entity is also making a great start to 2012 it seems, since until now, it has already made two acquisitions of the year.
The latest acquisition by Rohrer is Hogue Printing Solutions, which is a commercial package printing specialist based out of Mesa in Arizona. Hogue Printing Solutions is known for its environment-friendly techniques, using botanical inks, and also for recycling its maximum amount of waste.
Rohrer President and CEO Scot Adkins said that Hogue’s “equipment, products and culture fit us very nicely, and their location is perfect for serving the western part of the country.”
Since 2010, Rohrer is owned by ShoreView Industries, a private equity firm. Rohrer has recently acquired thermoformer Buckell Plastic Co. of Lewistown.
