OKIData has entered into a Managed Print Services contract with the world’s largest online bike store, Chain Reaction Cycles (CRC). The contract requires OKIData to analyze the complete printing operations of CRC and offer them solutions for managing the printing services.
Both the corporations are planning to introduce a print control system. This will further help cutting the overall annual cost by upto 28%.
Paddy Devine, ICT Infrastructure Manager at CRC said, "The MPS approach provides visibility into the printing process, enabling us to monitor the overall number of prints and the departmental split, showing where volumes are high, and enabling us to make appropriate adjustments as and when required. We estimate it will save us 28% on our annual print costs." Typically, when you make changes you expect some criticism. In this case, the criticism was minimal - a tribute both to the quality of printers and the approach to printing we have taken."
