Quad sells off Canadian Printing Plants
Quad Graphics Inc. has recently unveiled that the corporation has sold off its Canadian printing plants and has hence winded off its 2-year restructuring, by selling off the plants.
In July 2010, the corporation had acquired the printing plants of Canadian rival, World Color Press Inc. It took almost 18 months by the corporation to carry out the merged operations.
The deal that has been announced unveils that Quad has sold off its Canadian operations to Transcontinental Inc.
"The acquisition has been well received by our customer base in Mexico and we are confident that we will see market growth and additional opportunities to further expand our presence there, we expect this acquisition to provide solid synergy opportunities and position us to achieve our platform, earnings and market-leadership objectives."said Quad chief executive Joel Quadracci in a statement.
Quad Graphics Inc. is a Sussex-based organization. It is the nation’s second largest commercial printer.
