Samsung has unveiled its next-generation printer line-up in Milan this week. The main objective of Samsung behind the launch of this new printer line-up is business - an ambitious move considering the dominance enjoyed by HP and Xerox
currently in B2B printing. But by introducing these printers in the market on 27 July, Samsung
also aims to expand its market share in consumer printing.
Samsung has incorporated the touch-screen
user interface into the high-end products of the new printer portfolio. Gradually, this technology will be seen across the complete range of Samsung printers. The A3 copiers/printers of this new printing fleet come equipped with an impressive 7-inches screen, whereas the A4 printers sport 4.3-inches displays. The users of these printers can customize up to 40 short-cuts on the intuitive user interface, which means the commands can then be executed with just a single button press.
